Today we had a special guest, Josiah’s dad, Kevin, perform for us! Kevin played the guitar and sang while Josiah accompanied him on the drum. It was awesome! Thank you for arranging this, Josiah!

Yesterday we started to do some prep work for our Christmas concert. One of the songs we will be singing is “The Huron Carol”. We will sing this song with Mrs. Sharpe’s class. Along with our Aboriginal Education teacher, Mrs. Keiver, our classes got to make our very own drum out of deer hide! We are going to use this drum when we perform our song. We also got to make spirit bracelets for our costumes. What a fun afternoon!
