Our Grade 2/3 Workshop

Today we set up our own workshop in the gym with the senior woodworking class from the high school. I won’t share exactly what we made with you as they are going to be our Christmas gifts this year, but here are some pictures of us working together with our big buddies 🙂

Who are you going to give your special project to for Christmas?

What was your buddy’s name?

Which part did they say was the hardest to cut out?

Hang your stockings…’cause Santa Claus comes…soon!

We had an exciting craft afternoon this week! A big thank you to all of our wonderful parent volunteers who came to help us. Together with Mrs. Sharpe’s class and Mrs. Taggart’s class, we sewed our own stockings, made Christmas cards, and created some polar bear art.

What was your favourite craft activity?

Where are you going to hang your stocking when you take it home?

December is Here!

It’s December 1st and in my household, that means we are allowed to decorate for Christmas! We made these paper chains with Mrs. Pakenham’s kindergarten class on Friday and I put them up this weekend.

The fireplace is all ready for our stockings to be hung that we are sewing on Wednesday at 12:45.

We have been busy practicing away for the Christmas concert. We will have two shows this year, both on the same day, Tuesday, December 17 at 11 and 6:30.
